Yes, yes ... most importantly, it means we can get on with the international fixtures that we have all been wasting time waiting for.
The other 2 Aussies arrived in India a few days back and will be joined by what must be a
We are bound to get bored by the time 5 of the 7 ODIs have been played, but it's better than having to watch Victoria play again.
Also, the England side pop home to visit their parents in South Africa any day now. They figured they ought to play a bit of cricket while they're there because the Saffers can use a win. Incidentally, if the English don't get an absolute arse kicking in South Africa
Bring on Sunday. Can we make it 7-0 against India? I doubt it, but it should be a good series.
Up until about ODI 5, that is.

HAHA! You wanted T&T to win too Sid. C'mon you can tell me ;).
There will be plenty of English arse kicking. But make the hoax calls anyway :P.
My record continues......It was sad to see T&t go down like tat...yet NSW deserved to win.....Well done to them....
Ah, come on Poshin - you've got to admit NSW have a flying bowling attack and they pulled it well together yesterdat. I am yet to watch the highlights (damned work getting in the way of my cricket again!) but I suspect it was a well deserved win.
Oi, where it your tag that Ian was right?
I called the NSW victory...'Trinidad will win'.
Shocker Sids haha
What's your gut feeling for the 7 match ODI series?
Sorry ... I'll remember to credit you in my tags all the time in future. I have only just watched the highlights of the final and it was so good I want to watch it again! I admit to thinking the Trinidadians and the Toboggans would take it and I suspected it would be high scoring and close - only right on one count there. My Nathan got a bit lucky, didn't he? Could barely smile through the relief after that first wicket.
My gut feeling for the 7 match series is that 7 matches is way too many ... I am concerned about the players being over worked, the NSW boys have been at it for months on end now. I think Australia will win the series, but I don't think it will be as close as many of us fans are hoping. This is not England, after all. India can play cricket.
Was this a beautiful match! Two collapses for the price of one; a shining white knight on a shining white horse saving his people in a shining white manner, accompanied by several dragonslaying assistants who, if named Hauritz, wade knee-deep in blood but eventually kill two fat beasts with just three slashes; Sir Bolly performing a Hilfenshocker, just because he can; the beautifully safe hands of Prince Moises; wise King Simon, who ingeniously decides not to have the Prince attack, and a mental wreck on this side of the globe, cursing, cheering, screaming and laughing hysterically... what a match! Thank you Blues, I'll be able to leave my oxygen tent around Christmas :D
WOW! Now I really am annoyed that I didn't think to take the day off work to watch it. I really enjoyed the highlights, but they cause oxygen issues when you already know who won.
Next time I'm taking leave!
