The Windies are coming to town ... probably

It looks like the West Indian cricket have almost sorted out their dispute with their players and a full strength should be touring Australia in November.

Time to become an insomniac

I'm dead pleased. Not for the West Indian cricketers, but for myself. I'm going crazy without decent cricket to watch for a couple of weeks now - how was I going to cope for a 3 and a half months?

I'm sure you're all chuffed for me.

They'll probably beat the Aussies at home, even after all this turmoil, and Punter will be sent back to Van Diemen's Land for a bloomin' good flogging with the cat o' nine tails.

By the way, your blog won't let me enter my comments as anything other than anonymous, which I do not like.

HAHA. I can just picture Punter's face if the Windies win against the Aussies.
Sorry Sid, but that face is quite comedic.

Hhhmmm - I wonder why that is Anon. Do you have a google account?

I will see what Google has to tell me about that.

And to both of you, I can't deny the Punter sulky face is funny. I'm not his biggest fan, either, but I still don't want Australia to lose ...

Does anybody in Australia like Ricky Ponting?

Well, I'm not a great fan of him as our captain but realise he is an amazing batsman. He strikes me as an over achiever and nobody likes one of those, right?

Plus, he had big shoes to fill after Sir Steven (we are not worthy), and I think he's got tiny wee feet.
