Personally, I think he has just been taken by a sudden inexplicable desire to look like Merve Hughes.
Whatever the reason, he has of late been seen around Sydney sporting a new look:
It's not quite at Merve level yet, but I reckon it's still more than T-Paine the Ray could produce in 6 months.

As much as it is for a great cause, the men look terrible with the mo. My boss at my Saturday job is doing it and he looks so weird! We can't wait for the end of the month when he shaves it off! :P

He looks like a bloody chainsaw killer from the forest. But this is contrasted by his bright yellow rubber duck cap and him being his typical happy self even with the mo from hell :D

But, I have seen a few mo-vements, also ones that took place just for fun... the guys that can actually grow one will look scary, while the guys who only just manage to grow two single bristles over the course of 2 months look just hilarious. But then again... the pic proves that it is really not a flaw not to be able to grow one *lol*
@Purna - yes, he does look American. It's the bad shirt and the baseball cap couple with the bad tash. He looks like the stereotypical redneck Billy-Bob from Hicksville, Tennessee.
@Wes - he is hoping to be back Christmas-ish. Starting to run this week and then has roughly 5-6 weeks before he can play.
