My favourite picture from the 5th ODI

Is he carrying those drinks because he was a bit rubbish in the last match? Is it because there were a few, niggling injury concerns (and he's not responsible enough to be flown back to Perth on his own - the airline won't take him without an accompanying adult)?

Or could it be because he stayed up all night on the turps the night before the match? He looks like an old wino.

Good god, Mitchy - have a shave and get some sleep!

Possibly is just so knackered from being on this endless tour that he is planning to just slob out till the test series starts in, oh what is it? About 2 and a half weeks!!!!

FFS.

He looked absolutely pissed off throughout the entire game. Feeling a bit of heat from the newbies I guess *lol*

I hope he is getting a good scare then. Punter won't back him if there is someone more reliable to stick the money on.

Punter loves Mitch. He will have him back even if he bowls 6 wides in a row. There's a specific face he makes, kind of like a jaded little kid. Ricky likes to father him, since he doesn't have his daughter around.

@Louise and Jawad - I think he must be pretty tired. These guys have played so much cricket this year. He did go back to Perth for a brief rest while the CLT20 was on but then another 7 ODIs and a couple of test series upcoming.

According to Crapinfo, Johnson is exhausted and Australia haven't decided whether or not they will play him tomorrow. Personally, I think the 2 test series coming up are more important and he should sit out the next two ODIs just in case.

@Louise and Wes - I'm undecided on Punter's feelings toward Mitch. He frustrated us all so much by insisting on playing Johnson in the Ashes when he was clearly not at his best. But then he surprised us all at Headingley, didn't he?
