If you think that's a batting collapse, Chris, check this out!

Well, that was just horrible.

After a fabulous batting collapse by the West Indies first thing, Australia - evidently in awe of Gayle's men - decided to do exactly the same.

Ponting was hoping not to have to come out today and by rights he shouldn't have had to, but as the wickets tumbled he clearly felt he ought to take matters into his own little hands.

It lasted for all of 6 balls. He went for 2.

Now we are relying on My Lord NMH and the Sound Effect to do us some good, but unless one of them flukes his first test century I suspect we will have to bowl this lot out if we want to win the match.

Australia are 137-8 at stumps on day 3 (that's a lead of 345 runs).

Let's hope the Saffers can cheer me up.

Just checking the scorecard *collects eyes from floor**clicks jaw back into place*

What the ...????

Bollyyyyyyyyyyyyyy remember where you read it first! Bolly is the man, he is the man *performs ritualistic Bolly dance*

Ritz taking 3-60 or so is sure not his career worst figures, go Ritz! The bulletin says the surface is further deteriorating, Ritz what about five or seven? Hehe.

There is just something that bothers me... Klinty needs a wicket *sneeef*

I'll have to watch the highlights and see what inpired the batting collapse, but the lead is still handy, with such an exciting pitch we should be able to nom the Windies for lunch :D

PS. Sid I hope you've had a nice bday party :D

PPS. "Clint is not a name"
His actual first name is Clinton. Do you agree that we should stick to "Clint"? *lol*

The Saffers better cheer me up too. My dislike of Swann will start abating if he keeps putting his money where is flipping big gob is. He carried them in the first innings with bat and ball.

The Aussies collapse a lot these days. By 'these days' I mean the last 2 years. They barely go two game without a good old-fashioned one. It's depressing. How do I keep up my spirits when the cricket team is fraying so badly?

No one's dislike of Swann will abate. That just isn't possible.

I still maintain it is someone else in disguise out there.
