Miracle at the SCG

Mussey got a century.

My Lord got 5 again (despite injuring his finger - again)

And Punter was so relieved he did this:

Thank God for you two, thank God! Of course, if you hadn't done well, you were taking the blame for the loss you know ...

I can't believe I slept through it all.

Show the match to an atheist and you'd have a staunch believer in front of you.

Kirby...we need to go on a crash course again in teaching you how to keep the faith..even if certain decisions or moments seem daft!

Good on Ritz' part. Back to back 5-fors! Awesome!

I can't believe I got any work done!

Mussey must've done well; on all the WA news' tonight he is suddenly "WA's Mike Hussey" again. Mind you, some of them were also calling it one of Australia's greatest wins... don't know about that. Most surprising, praps.

Unfortunately we have no claim on Siddle, but between Muss and The Real Mitch (while he's ours, anyway) lots of WA boys on the cricket news!

It was all thanks to Mr Nice Guy, Hussey.
OK Sid, your Lord rocked too!

I hope it doesn't cover up the real problems with the Bloody Middle Order!

Well Lord North will have to go unless he posts back to back centuries in Tas, but there are plenty of guys who can replace him. I hear Fergie being named pretty often, does any of the Aussie visitors here know how he's doing? There is also grapevine murmur about Adelaide newspapers demanding the inclusion of The Cosgrove, obviously I remote control the Saussie media B)

Yes, middle order is a bit worrying ... even Mussey, regardless of this recent performance. I love Lord Marcus, but he needs to start performing.

And yes to everyone, credit goes to Mussey and Sids for the win more so than My Lord. But you know I have a wee Nathan slant around here ...

Nah don't worry, the Huss is safe. :)
