I had a bad night ... was convinced we would end up with a draw, but thankfully it didn't happen. It's been a good weekend: Australia took the series 3-0, the Aussies finally remembered what a century is and My Lord was the leading wicket taker in the series. Just in case you missed that.
Oh, and the Saffas managed to win a match against England ... what's going on there? At least a series draw is better than a loss. But what kind of a crap team would lose to England?

I was excited Katto got a bowl, finally! Was kind of cool to have the openers bowling together, but then I was like, hang on, our *batting* openers are *bowling.* Is that actually a good thing??
On a side note, since I've forgiven Katich for abandoning his roots I'm thinking of adopting the Captain Kat campaign. After all, it's not like he went to Victoria. :) And not having hair is *fine* - Advanced Hair Studios would love it!

My father keeps up a semi-continual litany about the Kat as a bowler and that Punter should be using him more. He convinced me that he should practically be considered as part of the attack and I must say he can look quite threatening as he gives it a bit of a rip.
I'd love it if Kat was Captain except I'd be worried that he'd lose his form. Even if they just gave him the 20/20 team to play with, that would be a nice gesture. He'd be a better bet with the bat than Clarke that's for sure.
Didn't Hauritz captain at U19 level for Oz? Another option for captain on the menu. Not Pup, not yet.

@missjane I go on a bit about Captain Kat abandoning the West for NSW, but actually I don't mind that much. He did it for love. And so long as he didn't go to Bloody Victoria, like Dussey did.
