Having been a wee bit ill, and working my little behind off for little reward, I managed to miss that the first ODI between Aust and W.I. was on today. I assumed there would be more of a break, but there you go.
So I haven't seen it, although I do know that we kicked some bowling arse (although from the scorecard the batting looked ordinary), that Ry the not Jimmeh continues to confound and that My Lord Nails got himself a wee 3 - 28.

I was surprised too. You'd think they'd take a break after defeating us in two whitewashes and a t20 but no. It was as if they had plenty more left in the tank and what they did to us was just the norm. Great. Thanks. Rub it in why don't you. At least bloody remember us...they moved on so quickly.
I tell you how I feel. I feel like I got divorced yesterday, and walking down the street this morning, see my ex-wife zoom off with some bloke in a car with the words 'just married' behind it. Strange feeling. Yes I know, what a b**ch.

Ry the not Jimmeh is having the time of his life! Witchy's pies are in trouble. Maybe Witchy should become a specialist test bowler. Like Bracks is a specialist ODI bowler. Otherwise, what the hell are the Aussies going to do with Witchy, Hilfy, Sids, Klint, Bracks, Jimmeh and Ry? Then there is Binga too. Whose career is probably more than over at this point.
I think it's not exactly a disadvantage to have twice as many first choice quicks as needed for a match. Look at the Hilf and Sid, out with injury for a long time, and Mitchy being his usual random self. Bolly has to be mentioned here though. Reliable yellow (now dark green) force.

It won't be long before Ry goes back to being ordinary - he's just lucky at the moment. I love Pseudo Nathan (Bracks) but will he really be able to make his way back into the side?
Also, Wes is right - look at what happened in India. We need plenty of back up players.
Stani, I know you hate me saying this but you guys were so swish at that T20 - I just can't imagine how it was lost. Australia must always be a shit tour, it sucks to have to leave empty handed like that.
so "swish"? That word has a lot of letters from another word I would have used in it's place....you used it a little later.
Ryan Harris is going to come screaming back like the man who fell to earth soonish. He just isn't as good as he is looking at present.
