I'm confused ...

... was the match tied or did the Kiwis win? The way I see it (and I haven't, by the way, I've only read about it - Sky TV in the UK have decided to stop showing Australia's matches on the grounds that they keep winning and the Brits don't like it) NZ won. The match was tied, but because of the eliminator-in-which-no-one-was-eliminated, NZ won.

So our winning streak has come to an end, but the "series" was drawn.

Why does crapinfo still list the result as match tied?

And why did we even need the eliminator-in-which-no-one-was-eliminated? Why couldn't the match really just be tied? Of course, I probably wouldn't be saying that if Australia had won the super-over.

Also, I hear we should be sending Shaun Tait mail bombs and starving lions in a basement just for him ...

Kiwis won!! If anyone should be gifted to the lions it has to be Pup, for he chose Tait to bowl a "Super Over". I'm sure Ricky rolled across the streets laughing his ass out!

The Super-over is a joke - both teams played equally well (batting-wise), and the match should be a tie.

B-Mac was brilliant enough to deserve a win a wee bit more.

One match I would not bother about outcome. Brendon McCullum came up with the kind of knock he comes up with once every two years before going dormant. So we all can breathe easy for the next 23 months:)

Sid you must watch the highlights really, and you shouldn't wait for too long because CA have started to take videos down from that hoster :(

Stop! - Timmy time.

OH NO! I better watch tonight - or maybe today at work :-) Having a shit time at work, so that would be cool.

Oh, well. On to the ODIs. Can't believe we have another 5 to get through. Wouldn't 3 be enough?

Som, I thought that! No Brendan on my fantasy team for the ODI's. He's done his dash. He really should have waited for the Worlds to do his 24 month jobby.

If Ry the not Jimmeh had held the early catch, he would have just been another Chris Gayle wannabee.

Anyway, I was glad the Kiwis racheted up a score as I wanted to see the Aussies chase a biggun'.I thought Clarke would be our weak link, but he wasn't, apart from having VERY poor taste in the choice of a super-over bowler. They did extremely well, so for me the match was a win as even with the short boundaries both Clarke (to my unlimited surprise) and Cam White (proving he can still do it) were excellent chasing a huge total. Big confidence boost there as they didn't have Watto up top.
