We're still missing Hilfy and Lee; Captain Kat has had elbow problems, as has Punter, Mitchy is always "fatigued" (not to mention mummy problems) and My Lord occasionally mentions (although would never complain about) a dicky heel and let's not forget he frequently has serious issues with his digits. I'm not too worried about a few ODIs against the West Indies, something against the Damned Kiwis or the series against the Stanis in England: win them, lose them - we'll deal. But this lot needs to be fully fit by November so we can see off those poms in style.
Ry the Not Jimmeh may be the new golden boy (to everyone but me) but he is not good enough to play in the Ashes tests, so the
And every last one of you little beggars know this: if any of you, and I mean ANY OF YOU, gets seriously injured in the meantime and can't play in the Ashes series I will get my voodoo dolls out - yes, I mean you Mr "I might play in the Ashes, but I'll decide after the IPL" Lee.
Just for that comment you need to be smack-listed.
But I like you too much (at the moment).

Let us pray!! I am especially very very muchly worried about Hilf. Bolly will be in the Test squad no doubt. I hope so.
One of the state coaches (or is it Mark Waugh, it usually is) can go on the smack list for suggesting that Ryan Harris is the X factor for the Ashes.
Pull the other one, it plays jingle bells. He'll turn back into the old uninspiring Ryan Harris long before then.
We all know it.
I am a bit depressed about Hilfy. I do like him as a player but he's a long term outer. Why can't we keep our bowlers on the paddock?
Why is it that the one with the weirdest, most stress-inducing appearance to his action trundles on taking wickets come rain or shine or even really shit bowling?
What's wrong with Hilfy? Hanging out with Bracks too much?
Actually I was hoping Bracks would be okay for this series, he has been playing a bit for NSW but I think he's still taking it slow. Probably best to be careful.
Buying my ticket for Derbys. v Australia today ... can't wait already!!
