How dare New Zealand feel they have the right to win not one, but two matches against us? And how dare the guy who did most of the work be an old, chubby fucker?
Jeez, Scottie ... you've really let yourself go, mate.
I hear that's what Mitchy was saying to him, anyway. Apparently, Johnson and Styris appeared to clash heads and words were had between the two of them and then there was a wee incident where they got physical. It sounds like Mitchy was feeling the pressure of being pied about by a guy who generally just eats pies, and he let loose. Sounds quite fair to me :-) Both players have been fined, so that's nice. Or not.
The bit that really gets me is where Hads steps in to separate the two ... Hads?!?! The guy who is usually the first in to a punch up actually tried to calm things down. Was he high or something?
Scotty, I'd step back if I were you ... Mitchy's a hair puller. It's never pretty.
Soooo ... as you can probably tell, I have very little inspiration here. It's tough to write about a match you've lost, even if it was a close one with fighting, and especially if you haven't seen it. So please feel free to write your thoughts on the match in the comments ... I am hoping that Sky will start showing the matches again, now that we've lost a couple.
They're usually pretty good like that.

Haddin clearly has lost his heart for a fight.
Hey Sid, the real Ryan Harris is hoving into view. It only took some batsmen with a bit of fight about them.
I was pleased the Kiwis won. Punter can now stop saying out loud that they have 'the best attack in the world'. I feel that bowlers who were part of 'the best attack in the world' could bowl more than the occasional yorker in the death overs. Our lot are terrified of them and don't even try.
And some cheek, to claim that he was backing MyLord then only bowl him for three overs and taking him off directly he got a wicket. Sometimes I really don't get Punter as an El Capitano. He does stuff by numbers.
Lou what you are saying about Punter. He has his abysmal moments. Good match though, finally some fight, and four matches to look forward to.
Wes' last blog:
Ross the Boss and Scott the Lot
Have some balls Lou. Ryano is a good bowler.
Have some faith in the team. When it all goes wrong in one or two games we can't continually aim to bitch and point fingers.
Ian, play nicely or I'll send you a mail bomb :-) I agree with Lou - Ryan Harris is totally over rated. I can also assure you that this isn't just as we have lost a couple, Lou and I have been saying this since he started playing for Oz this summer.
Cheers, Sid, that's why I pointed the comment at you.
Ian, it wasn't me who has been making these outrageous claims, but Punter. Not all teams will be willing to throw games away with both hands like the Pakistan team.
Remember the bs he spoke before the test series in India we got kicked two nil? I do.
I just want him to stop making these impossible to back up claims. It makes him look a nong.
Lou, I still have nightmares about Punter screaming "cheats" at the England balcony in (was it Edgbaston?) in 2005 ... something to do with substitute fielders. It was just shameful. I have come to respect Punter as our captain (in the 50 over game, I'm still not sure about tests ...) but his public displays just make me cringe at times.
