So the list of the lads to go to the Caribbean has arrived and - big shock - a lot of the "potentials" are not on it. And neither is Bracks.
Here it is:
Missing Link Warner
TWatso
The Ex-Bingle Pup,
Bloody Vic
Dussey
Mussey
T-Paine the Ray
Little Stevie Smith
Dan - I haven't got a nickname yet - Christian
Braddin
Brett Lee - I'm a wee bit excited about this 'un
Dirky
Mitchy
My Blessed Lord (actually a bit surprised about that ... but I won't complain. It'll make T20 a touch more pleasing on the eyes)
Warrior Shauny

Sid, just call Christian 'Wiradjuri'...it makes a change no? I'll allow you to add an 'o' at the end if you like.
Kirby,
I am very excited for Binga, he is looking OK with Punjab, but even he is not able to change our f***ing fortune it seems...ha ha
Btw...nice win yday...Vijay rocked..
You could call him Born Again. Though I don't know if he is or not.
Don't know whether to be pleased about Binga or not. He needs a lot of games to tell.
Warrior Shauny won't get a run nor will Tiny Tim. Hauritz might not either and god forbid the Hussey bros bat together in the line-up ever again. They'll be scrapping before you know it. Imagine the years of pent up resentment that Dussey must have against Mussey who just WON'T get booted out of the test team and give his little bro a go.
Hey Sid,
I just added you my blog roll, hope that's cool.
Thanks

Stani, what on earth is "Wiradjuri"?? Did you just make that up?
I like "Born again", but after the stick I got over Tuetonic Cam White I wouldn't want to be offensive again.
I'm excited to see Lee back again, I can't deny. I hope he gets a run and I hope he does well. As for My Lord, I rather think he'll sit the matches out while Little Stevie gets a run. But Stevie might need a rest at times, I guess.
Richie, no problem. When I am on a PC that lets me do more than just comment I shall return the favour.
Hey Stani, you're a little gem. Where did you come up with that?
I like it ... shall we vote between "Born again" and "Wiradjuri"? I can't decide.
:)
Mick Dundee told me....I think you'll have to shorten it though...if it wins the vote.
How's it pronounced? Silent 'd'?
Yeah, I imagine the "d" would be silent, so "wirrajurie" - I think.
I like it.
Can't believe you quoted Crocodile Dundee.
So can Dr Doolittle. Is he cool? Are you easily pleased, Stani?
No. And sometimes, but it depends on what you're offering.
If I was easily pleased, I wouldn't come here :)
Points please
Oooh! That was low ...
No points for you!
Low as in below the belt? What you doing with a pair of those Sid? Is there something you're not telling us? I mean, do you wear a box when you go out to bat?
Actually, it was supposed to be a compliment, but just like me, it came out wrong :)
Actually, after I responded I thought "was that a compliment or an insult?"; it's the huge chip on my shoulder that made me assume the worst :-)
Sid? Me? Insult? Never, surely. Now I always have the last word so don't reply to this or we'll soon be bringing up our century of comments.
P.s, "huge chip"...means you got huge shoulders no? Rugby style? Can't be good for a Sheila right? [runs as fast as he can]
Big shoulders are good for beating men up; actually I did some boxing today as well, so I'm all up to speed should you give me any hassle ... and, you know, be anywhere near derby when you do it.
...hmmmm, husband beater eh? I feel sorry for him. I can just see the headlines now: "Wife Chokes Husband with Brillo Pad"
Purchasing brillo pads would imply that I occasionally clean, I'm more likely to belt him round the head with a dumb bell.
...that explains the big shoulders then. If they are anything like Samantha Stosur's, I'd just like to take this opportunity to apologise to you.
Maybe you threaten him to purchase Brillo pads no?
Ok, who is Samantha Stosur?
Just googled her - she's got great shoulders! I can only dream that my skinny little things will be like that one day.
What kind of Aussie are you? What has living here done to you Sid?
Tea?
I'm not a tennis fan, but she's got great arms.
Don't you live here as well?
Of course :)
....I do watch tennis though.
Living here has made me dislike tennis; I get damn sick of everyone suddenly becoming a fan when Andy Murray does well then forgetting about him a week later.
Ah Miserable Murray. I use his voice to help me sleep.
At least he is vaguely more interesting than Tim Henman was. I look forward to the commonwealth games this year - it's always fun to see the English commentators taking the piss out of the Aussie swimmers.
