Dirk Nannes grows wings

I shit you not, lads, Dirk was up there flying about. He's a fucking god, you know?

He's up there now, I can see him. Check it out.

You don't believe me when I say Dirk can fly? I'll show you mate.

Did you see me? Did you see me, Muss? I was flying, man I can bowl; I can ski and now I can fly as well.

Yeah, yeah, we saw you mate. Get over yourself, we need you down here now, ok?

Aah, jesus christ, Mussey ... he's going to take off again. Hold him down, people, hold him down!

If you ever doubted that Dirk Nannes is a god, stop it now. You have photographic evidence. Nice routing of India, today, hey? Sweet.

That was awesome. Just awesome. BTW, why didn't Clarke give himself a bat? Is it just getting too noticeable?

That'll teach you to gloat, Purna. Obviously Mr (X)Bingle listened to your comment yesterday. A virtual cheer rang out at thebaggygreen when Pup disqualified himself from batting.

...he can speak Dutch too Sid!

I don't think he can speak Dutch, you know?

What a wonderful and wise captain we have. Is he coming in after Tait these days? I'm liking him more and more.

Lou, you're so innocent, it was a joke ;)

But Stani I sometimes go on boards with English 'fans' and most of them aren't joking. In their desperation to defend their Franchise team, they'll throw anything up to make it seem like 'every other team' does it (imports teams, I mean). People go around claiming that the Flying Victorian was born in the Netherlands.

So sorry, I don't always recognise jokes on this matter.

Note this about Stani, he's always joking.

I think Clarke is fantastic for recognising that he should not be at number. A good captain can recognise his own weaknesses as well as others'.

I have no idea if he can speak Dutch. It's feasible that he grew up with a Dutch speaking parent, isn't it? But then, so did I and my Dutch is shocking.

Stani, btw, good to see you back. Thought you might have been avoiding me.

We cool, don't worry about it ;) I'm not completely English though, I have a bit of Pakistani (or Kashmiri, strictly speaking) inside me.

Sid
Avoiding you? I've been thinking of ways of getting closer! Mr Sid better watch out! Heeehahaha No, I had food poisoning my dear so had to go take care of myself for a while. Why would I avoid you anyway?

"Note this about Stani, he's always joking", so true, my next T-shirt, thanks again Sid. Except when I'm analytically ass-whooping the Pakistani performance (expect one soon), then I'm dead serious.

I never denied the fact that Dirk is God!!!!!!!

Sidthegnomenator said...

@Sahana - anyone would be silly to deny such a thing, wouldn't they? I suspect there are silly people out there, however, so I thought I'd clear it up.

Clearly you and I are not silly, but compeltely brilliant.

@Stani just hadn't seen you for a few days and it seemed to nicely coincide with Australia beating Pakistan again. Glad you're feeling better.

Stani Army said...

Oi! I'm not like that :(

Sidthegnomenator said...

I didn't think you would be, my sweet, but I worried for a minute there.

Stani Army said...

I forgive you Sid, I forgive you.

Lou said...

Muss's are sprouting too.

Sidthegnomenator said...

They are starting to look quite impressive, Muss's wings.
