White 'n' Mussey 'n' Mussey 'n' White ... again

You know all that about boycotting? Well, that was rubbish. Come on, people, how long have you been coming here now? Of course I was going to follow it (as much as possible anyway - cricinfo mobile seemed to be in denial about it happening at all).

It was hard, I won't lie to you. I adore Gilly, even when he is wearing a stupid pink shirt. And his side put on a decent show, piling up 273. But we got it done.

Well when I say "we", I mean the usual supects got it done.

Mussey for PM.

White for God.

Now keep it up against England, eh?

That's it, Steve, you right nauseating pretty boy. You make your location nice and clear - the easier it is for the snipers, the less I have to pay them.

Hi Sid I was happy enough to sit through the whole match, so if you would like to know what you have missed, check this out
Pink Panzer v Yellow Forces

Bolly is looking in sharp form right from the go, and on the day Cam and/or Muss get injured Australia have to solve a real problem :/

Cheers and have a nice weekend,
Wes

I love Mussey. Not in a gay way though.

Yes, I agree about the injuries. What would we do without White and the Musseyman? They are the cavalry in short formats these days while the captain and/or the 'future captain' turn up when they bloody well feel like it.

As Gilly was captaining Middlesex, I wanted Middlesex to win! Can't help it. Gilly captaining anyone v Aus captained by Punter minus WitchyMitch - no competition.

We aren't playing a full strength unit in my opinion so yeah, Huss & Cam are crucial to the system.

Sniper. haha!!

No we are not Ian. With Michael Clarke and Clint Mckay in there, we definitely aren't full-strength.

It's depressing to have to face England when we are not full strength, but we managed against India last year - we can do it again.

Half tracker - every cricket fan in the world loves Mussey, doesn't matter what country they come from.

I've just realised Stephen Finn looks like young Roger Moore in that photo. How creepy is that?

You'd want to look like almost any of the other James Bonds than him, even Lazenby at a pinch.

Sidthegnomenator said...

Sean Connery was definitely the choice of Bonds, when we're talking looks. Can we find a cricketer who looks like him (at the time of Dr No, not now)?

Keith Miller was probably the George Lazenby look-alike, he was a real all-rounder not one of these namby pamby modern ones, who can't bat or bowl particularly brilliantly.

Sean Connery will take some thought.

Sid, I think there is almost equal affection for Katich too.

Well, Half-tracker I think everyone here knows my affection for Captain Kat but it is largely personal so I'm biased. It's nice to know others hold him in such high esteem.
