He, Hilfy, Mitchy and The Rug taught the Stanis not to be haughty.
With 105 to spare and the lead now growing
Twatto and the Kat started strong but couldn't keep it going.
Watson went for thirty one and Punter didn't last long,
Clarke followed and Mussey, too, but Kat is still going strong.
So we go in to day three on one hundred for four, with Kat and Mitchy in charge
we hope not to lose wickets too early, because we want that gap to be large.

A good value day 2 looked this: Australia finished batting with a total of 253, bowled Pakistan out for 148 and have started batting again. They are currently on 100/4 with Katich on 49 and Mitchy on 2. Anyone who went yesterday and not today will be asking for 50% of their money back, I reckon. They were cheated.

Did you have to mention Watson? What joke of a batsmen we produce! I was praying he didn't get the 5th but noooo. I think the Lord's honours board has become devalued now that he is on it. I'm gad he's pushed on to the new neutrals board and not with the rest of his countrymen on the away board.
We need to restrict you to another 50 and chase what we were basically set in the first innings. That would make it interesting. Anything over 300, then forget about it.
So was I Stani. How embarrassing for Pakistan. I was praying that Mitch or the Rug would get the last one. I don't think I can quite believe that the pie-chucker has a fivefer.

I don't think Watson is that bad. Now wasn't he the only Aussie bowler who looked like getting wickets in India and didn't he almost get a five wicket haul on flat wickets in India maybe at Nagpur?

If Lords don't want anyone to get on the board for an undeserved fiver they shouldn't host matches in which a fiver is undeserved. Putting the budgie on one's head and then moaning when he poops makes no sense, cheers.

Sid I'm not among those complaining. It's perfectly alright to me that Watto got a fiver. That's cricket, sometimes the not so talented guys get a fiver, too... *hint hint*
