A Little Ditty of Loss and Shame (also, Bugger)

Things started slow
at the Captain Pup show,
but soon the men were kicking arse.
Then Hauritz was shit
and that Kohli can hit,
our days of winning are long past.

I'm sorry about Hauritz. Are you OK? ;P

I'm getting through it, but it's tough you know? ...sobs uncontrollably ...

Dead pleased with Pup, though. Are you?

What happened to Hauritz? Is my plan coming together is it? Someone? Hello?

I think your plan is coming together, Stani. I didn't go betting anything stupid, did I?

Are you dead pleased with Pup having a sr of more than a hundred less than Cam's?

Can't believe that all the articles are about Pup's innings when if it hadn't been for Cam - he who shalt not be skip - we were looking at a flat 250 score. It shows how low the expectations are where Clarke is concerned.

I can see Doherty and SOK circling like a pair of Port Jackson sharks.

That's a depressing point you make there, Lou. Incidentally, I would love Cammy to be ODI and T20 captain, while Pup focuses on Tests. Sadly, CA probably won't even consider this.

But, whooooooo, the Useless ones beat the Bushrangers with a cast of unknowns.

And Marcus North who, I suggest, has a finer understanding of the phrase 'Captain's knock' than Adam Voges.

Nathan, Nathan! Sid doesn't want you to be captain :)

You gotta love me.

What's with the new look big girl? And it may help if you let my comments through moderation on your other blog :P....unless you just don't like me of course.

By the way Sid, if you have akismet installed on your WP blog, you really don't need moderation on. It does an excellent job.

Yes, I saw. Fellow west Aussies are having hopes that this is the start of a better season. Let us pray.

Stani, I apologise for not having visited the other blog for a few days. I've barely been near this one. It's been quite a week, with the "new" job and all.

Now, I love Lord Nathan - as you know - but even I do not harbour any illusions of his captain-ness.

How do you like the new look? Do you think the picture is too big now? This one is better quality than the other, but does seem to take up a lot of space. Let me know.

Don't you want Nathan to be YOUR captain either? :)

Honestly, it was the grey background I saw first and start scrolling down. It was only on my second visit today (now) that I saw the pic. The background and colour of the type (main and headings) goes well, keep it.

You can cut a bit off the top of the pic if you want. Are you saying the image is large in terms of file size or actual size? You can adjust both.

As a rule, images used for screen should be a resolution of 72 dpi and for print 300 dpi.

If you found the image difficult to upload then it's probably because of the large file size. If you took it straight from Jenny's camera then it's probably way more than 72 dpi.

If you wanna cut and/or change the image size and file size then mail me with what you wanna do and I'll show you an easy way.....FREE!....for now.

I quite like the picture as it is, but was worried it takes up so much screen people might be put off. The odd thing about it is that I had a lower quality version that fitted nicely, but didn't look as good. Jen emailed me this one and I assumed blogger would cut it down to the same size but it didn't. It was a quick upload, there was no problem there. I might leave it ... unless someone complains. Then I'll send it to you. I am crap with photos.

Nathan can be my captain any time he likes, Stani. You know that.
