That match was clearly fixed.

Well, you all know by now. I don't need to tell you. We did all right, although not the greatest total; Xavier Doherty sent My Lord's stocks plummeting hellwards and the Sri Lankans decided to just give their wickets away.

Until Pup felt that Australia winning just wasn't in the script and benched Smith, who was employing all his agressiveness, and brought on Twatto. Well, of course. Why wouldn't you?

Unsurprisingly, I've been quiet because I had to wait for the fucking prozac to kick in.

I thought I'd come on here and write something chirpy; something to make you all smile a little. And that's no mean feat, when all you want to do is take Michael Clarke by the feet and continuously dunk his little shaven head in a bucket containing the tepid urine of some unidentified beast all the while shouting "WATSON CAN'T BOWL, YOU IDIOT!"

... and breathe ... I'm not too annoyed. Calming down ... I'm not annoyed at all. You see, the match was clearly fixed. The ICC even felt the need to investigate. Briefly. I'm telling the truth, you should read Jrod's report.

And then come back here and curse with me for a while, would you?

The bowling was really shit, after the 107-8. All it took was for someone to go after them!

PS. Grey theme was better

Captain Pup was bad; bad enough to make Captain Punter look by comparison ... well, decent anyway.

BUT ...

In fairness, Capt Pup couldn't bowl Smith who had hurt his back in the field (that's why Starc subbed for a while, I think). I still don't understand why he didn't bowl Hastings, though, instead of Twatto.

And however bad and wayward the bowling (what on earth was My Little Pony Johnson playing at?!?), let's not forget that the really bad part was the batting. With the possible exception for Mussey. (And that's saying something these days.) Our bowling would look much better if it could get an at least semi-decent score to bowl to every once in a while. Too much to ask?

Rish, I had some complains about the grey theme - no one liked it and it looks too much like the Baggy Green blog so I needed another change. I'm sick of green amd yellow just looked blllerrrrgh.

Betti, I wondered if Smith was injured. I went looking for information on it yesterday and found nothing so came to the conclusion that Pup was crap. As you say, why continue to bowl Twatto when he was doing rubbish?

Anyway, we are probably going to lose again so get prepared for another prozac induced post.

Adrian, I'm right there with you. I am dreading the comeback from the locals here if we don't win the ashes back.
