Oh noes Sid, Nate should have featured in this post. The expected New year post would have been a dedication to him for enduring so much this entire year.

Craig, I couldn't resist a Sachin dig - I do think he is a great player really, I just get sick of people going unduly nuts ever time he hiccups or anything.
I figured I had gone on and on about Swann over the last year and decided he deserved a break. Don't worry, I'll come to my senses soon.
Shridhar - I'm prepared for Ijaz's backlash, I consulted my lawyer before writing this post. I have agreed, in writing, to include Butt in next year's New Year post on condition that he remains a git throughout 2011 to make the post easier to write.
