its amusing to see that despite 85% of the aussie public wanting johnson to be dropped, people like stuart clark, greg chappell, tim nielsen, etc believe that johnson will fire eventually, and so should not be dropped.....we have been waiting since the tour to South Africa....when the ashes are lost, then at least will the selectors consider dropping him?
I'm not sure they'll even consider dropping Mitch then - look how bad he was in England last year (most of the time) and they were saying all the same guff back then.
I don't know why they are determined to keep certain players regardless of form. I'm almost hoping we lose the Ashes blatantly because of these players just so we can all mock the selectors and Ponting when they say, yet again, "I'm behind Mitch" "He'll start firing again".

Betti, I fear now that because of all the attention surrounding Mitch getting dropped few will remember North is still hanging around. And needs to be dropped quickly too.
Oh yeah, they'll hang on to North and hope no one notices in all the noise around Mitch getting dropped. A shame, because it would be nice for Ferguson to get his cap at his home ground.
