Operation Ashes Retrieval ...

... is pretty much dead in the water.

Operation Can't Bat, Can't Bowl, Oh My God this is Humiliating is alive and kicking, though.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to have divorce papers drawn up.

Mission ends
Mission big fat fail

Don't cry yet. Still 4 days to go and if England collapse and Oz get their act together it still has the potential to throw up something.

Yes four days to go, plenty of time for England to rack up 500 or more unhurriedly and then put some *real* pressure on the non-existent Australian batting line-up.

Got to agree with Wes here. Unless Johnson magics up some swing again (ha - the next appearance of that red herring is at least 6 months away), the Aussies are right royally effed.

All is not lost. I'm sure Melbourne will produce some rain for the next four days. :)

Wes is right. My nightmare last night involved England declared on 600-1 with Johnson having done 55 no balls and 72 wides.

It wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibility.

BUT it is Melbourne ... maybe Laura is onto something. Let's get dancing, you bloody Vics!

You were being gentle with me, weren't you? I keep forgetting you're one of them LOL

It's definitely all over bar the fat lady (or ex-spinner) singing, now.
