Shane Warne and Liz Hurley had some sort of scam relationship. A more mismatched couple there never was - does anyone really believe this was more than some sort of publicity stunt?
Usman Khawaja had Lord Nathan hold Punter down so he could jump on his finger a few times. As a result, Punter has a broken finger and may have to miss the boxing day test.
Australia won the third Ashes test.
Tendulkar did something big again. I'm Australian; the Ashes is on - how was I supposed to notice?
Lots of fans are calling for the return of Hauritz, which is interesting since only about three of us thought dropping him was a mistake when it happened. If he comes back for Sydney and kicks English arse, I plan to get really obnoxious. Consider yourselves warned.
Australia did something they haven't done in a while and won a test match. Just in case you missed it.
Ian Chappell thinks Ricky Ponting's captaincy is bad for Australia and cites Haddin as the only viable replacement. I've considered Hads, but I'm not sure he wouldn't abuse
Graeme Swann didn't win BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Thank Nate for that. He's such a git.
Geoffrey Boycott stated the obvious.
And, you might want to be seated for this, Australia managed to win something. It's cause for excitement, because it doesn't happen too often these days.

I was seated for the last part. And I fell off my chair. :/
it was a surprising win. Especially since Alastair Cook made less than 50 runs in each innings and Pietersen made less than 10. No idea what happened to the Poms, did they fall asleep or something?
I think Mitch and Hussey just love the WACA and its wierdness confused the poms. Pity the rest of the batting was shit. If Ponting's finger keeps him out of the 4th test, it might be a good opp for Khawaja.
Of course, if Pup is captaining, it might also be a good opp for the English to keep the ashes.
First time in many years Oz winning against Pommies is surprising
Chappel's remarks on captaincy for Haddin is surprising but then he has grey cells. He was the first to recommend Gilchrist as opener in 1996
Pesto Sauce - welcome and thanks for your comment. It hasn't been many years since we beat England, though. We beat them at Headingley in 2009 and that's only talking tests.
Chappell has a point on Ponting and he's far from the first to make it, but Haddin? I don't know. Maybe for a period, but not long term. I still think Ponting is the best of a bad lot. Which is saying something ...
Brad Haddin always seems such a child though.
I am sure that Badhands would find something stupid to say or do to the opposition that would completely put Punter's embarrassing barking in the shade.
I think Punter is the best we've got for now, but that's as I don't like Clarke and I don't want him captaining the test side anytime soon.
Chappel talks out of his arse. Haddin? That guy shoudlnt even be in the team. Paine for me.
Leave it with Ponting. His misfortunes as captain have mostly been through circumstances rather than his own choices. Captains are only ever as good as their teams...or specifically, only ever as good as their bowling attack, in Tests especially
Return of Hauritz? Did you kidnap him Sid?
Stani, I've been trying to kidnap Hauritz for a while now but that wife of his keeps him well hidden. How rude!
I actually worry a bit that Ponting might lose his place - he is a truly world class batsman and one of the few we have of late. Plus, as we have said plenty of times, who replaces him?
I can still mock him when it suits me though, right?
