What if My Lord didn't have a dicky shoulder?
What if Dougie had more hair?
What if I had married a Canadian, didn't bite my fingernails? had better penmanship?
Ah well, 299 was a mighty score to chase down and we gave it a bloody good try. At least we didn't have a major batting collapse (you know, like we did throughout the Ashes). And at least we're still 2 up.
Or so I will tell myself for the next couple of days, anyway.

This post is really zen, considering what your Lord has been through. Here's hoping he recovers in time for the Cup (or is that a lost cause already?)
Great to see Lee back and bowling well, though. He's added a much-needed spark to the side.
I hope he'll be back, but they are talking like it's over for him. I can't believe he got himself injured on his first time out for Oz in so long. He's been very unlucky.
It is good to see Lee back and I am a big fan of Tait, but they do have a tendency to get injured. If they can stay fit and Watson and Hussey can keep firing, we might just do ok in the cup.
We won't win it, though.
