So I decided to put together a list, of behalf of all Australian supporters, of all the things we would like from Andrew Hilditch. I haven't yet sent the letter, because I wanted to run it by you all first. So, please, tell me what you think.
Now, I have thought about this is in a variety of ways and this is what I came up with in the end:
Dear Mr Hilditch,
As you see fit to constantly throw your weight and opinions about over our cricket team, we - the Australian cricket fans - feel we have the right to demand a few things from you. In this vein, I have put together a list of the things we would like from you, as our Chairman of Selectors. I apologise that the list is so long, but we feel quite strongly about this.
The List
- We would like you to step down as Chariman of Selectors

All the Australian fans (and probably the Australian team as well, to be fair) (almost definitely Nathan Hauritz) (and probably Nathan Bracken, too).

Selectors are a hated lot, everywhere. But even I think this guy has screwed up Aussie Cricket big time.
From an Indian point of view... I would love to see him continue ... forever :-)
Hold on ... I thought you were a Pakistani!! I thought that was why you got annoyed with me yesterday.
But yes, he is an odd one. He really has no clue. I only hope the board of previous captains who are looking into the Ashes loss will have something to say about him.
So, it's you and me on Wednesday. I don't mind saying that I think we might struggle yet again. India are looking pretty good, but then there was England and a minor collapse today againt the West Indies.

I am an Indian with a great admiration for the 'Fast Bowlers Factory' that is Pakistan.
I wasn't annoyed. Just thought the Pakistan bowling was super. Especially Gul. Have to give that guy the credit that is due.
I had always thought that Hafiz guy to be a dummy. Even Afridi had called him 'Gandu' that is arsehole. But he bowled beautifully yesterday and in fact much better than the highly over-rated Bhajji !
So it will be You vs Me on Thursday. I would see India as a 50.5 - 49.5 favorites because of the Spinning options. But Munaf Patel might lose us the match. Aussie Opening and Pace options are damn good.
LOL! If he continues for some more time, comparisons between Hilditch and Ijaz Butt may well start flying around!
Btw, Govind and I will together be supporting our team to put together a win against your team on Thursday. Frankly, I would have preferred another opposition in the QF, but I don't mind India playing Australia.
The best team in this World Cup so far has been South Africa. And India lost to them by about 3 inches only (approx distance between the ball and the stumps when Robin Peterson's inside-edge on the first ball of the last over went for a 4)! So I daresay, India can still fancy beating Australia and enter the SFs!

Govind they were great, but at the time I wrote that post I was not in the mood for anything but slamming the Aussies. I promise that not long after the Dustbin page on FB had a positive comment about the Pakistanis.
I am so nervous about Wednesday, guys, but it must be done eventually. May the best team win.
Wes, thanks for the link on FB - that photo was my desktop for ages! I'm with you in bringing him back (of course) and I think after the average showing of Smith and the K-word in India, they might just have to.
If they don't, it'll be all the Hilbitch's fault.

Although I agree with your list, I'm not entirely sure a letter will do. Perhaps you should consider making it a podcast or something; I'm not sure Hilditch is smart enough to read. (He sure as Hell can't read the writing on the wall, after all.)
Tracer, I am thinking of losing the header picture altogether but I haven't decided yet ... it seems such a big change for me. I'm not sure I can handle life without Brett's butt.
So, my other plan - to send a plane across Sydney writing in the sky - probably won't work either if Hildy can't read. Perhaps I can employ a rent-a-crowd and get them to chant it at him? Or how about I post him a slightly intelligent monkey with the ability to read (Ponting)?
