We at the ICC have discussed this on and off, somewhere between the entree and the fish course and then again with the coffee; various cricketers have stuck their noses in and had something to say about it (but we just threw a tennis ball down the street - we knew Ricky wouldn't be able to help himself chasing it) and we finally came to this decision regarding you and future world cups: you are shit and we would like you to stay that way so you can't play anymore.
Of course, you're not shit (and, in fact, we and many others appreciate that you beat England in this year's tournament) and you are much better than Bangladesh, despite what that
So can you please just sit down and shut up and do as you're told. We don't care that you are less likely to succeed in your bid at full member status if you can't play in major international tournaments (No, Mr Collingwood, no that T20 thing - we said major). We have no interest in developing cricket around the world. Surely that's the job of cricket's governing body?
Oh, wait ...

And what about Afghanistan who are developing so fast? Who knows where they would be in four years?
It's a slap in the face for all the Associates and the stupid thing is you can bet the tournament will still last forever.
@czaxx's suggestion ( http://bit.ly/eAMD6X ) regarding how to reform the 50over World Cup is still the best I've seen. Too bad that the ICC won't see it and that even if they did, they wouldn't care ... staring themselves blind on the Indian market and Indian $$$ at present.
Yes, Afghanistan have done well and only slightly missed qualification for this world cup. That film broke my heart, incidentally. And let's not forget the Netherlands. It's true they didn't win a match in the 2011 tournament but they played quite well and got close to an upset or two. Now what happens to these teams?
Betti, it does look interesting. I need to read it closer when I have some more time. As you say, though, it could be a perfect set up and the ICC will still pay no attention.
Nice update, we are most interesting cricket updating. Please update the cricket score is more viewers increasing. Bye….
If Afghan can pledge a vote to BCCI, a way can be found for them.
I say, Ireland should pledge their allegiance to BCCI as well. It is not as if misplaced loyalty to England is helping them. ECB is pinchign their stars, afterall. I mean, they arent openly siding with the ECB but they ARENT PLEDGING UNDYING LOYALTY to BCCI. Do that, and see how BCCI browbeats the ECB into releasing Morgan back to Ireland, and threatened of amputation if they dared touch an Irish cricketer again.
Instead, you have Irish Administrators bad-mouthing ICC and veiledly, BCCI. Be pragmatic, folks. Let's screw England together. If you dont want to screw England because of misplaced loyalty to geographical proximity, and/or genealogical reasons, then suffer.
- Fake BCCI Official.
Haha Raj! Nice one. With this new ruling, England won't even have to steal the Irish players - they will go to England by choice because it's the only way they will get a chance to play cricket at a higher level.
Thanks again ICC for royally screwing Irish cricket.
We are waiting for australia tour. sachin will prove again 100's 100 wow....
He will prove that 100 has 100 ... huh?
